Una Sikimić

Dr Una Sikimić is the Chair of the Executive Board of ALTA Bank a.d. Belgrade, with nearly two decades of experience in top management positions in the banking sector across Serbia and the region. During this period of development, the bank has achieved continuous and dynamic growth, outstanding business results, and has successfully carried out acquisitions in the country and the region. Within this financial institution, ALTA Leasing and ALTA Bank in North Macedonia operate, further strengthening the regional presence of the ALTA Group. Through efficient management, ALTA Bank is today positioned among the ten largest banks in Serbia and has been named the fastest-growing bank in the country for the second consecutive year.

In addition to her executive roles, Dr Sikimić has long-standing experience as Chair and member of supervisory boards of banks in several countries across the region. She holds a PhD in Economics, and her academic work is focused on risk management in commercial banks. She actively participates in regional economic and financial conferences, contributing to the development of the sector and the strengthening of dialogue on financial stability.
