
Sandra Đukanović
Sandra Đukanović is a successful entrepreneur who has built her career through media and entrepreneurship.
She graduated from the Faculty of Political Sciences, University of Banja Luka, with a degree in Journalism and Communication Studies, and continued her education at the second cycle of studies in the field of communication. She obtained her master’s degree in 2024, defending a thesis on the role of mass media in shaping reality in the Republic of Srpska. In 2025, she completed another master’s degree at the Faculty of Organizational Sciences in Belgrade, focusing on improving procurement process management in the metal processing industry.
She began her professional career in media, where she spent more than two decades gaining experience as a journalist, editor, and television presenter. She worked at NTV television, then at PINK BH, and later at RTRS, where she served as Editor-in-Chief of the entertainment program.
Alongside her media career, she has been active in entrepreneurship since 2008. She is the co-founder and director of “Vendom” based in Laktaši, one of the leading exporters in the metal industry in Bosnia and Herzegovina. In addition, she manages companies in Slovenia and Bosnia and Herzegovina operating in the fields of logistics and manufacturing.
She is the recipient of several prestigious awards for her contribution and creativity, including the “Lady of the Year of the Region” award at the “Strong Women of Serbia” Conference in 2019, as well as the “Entrepreneur of the Year of the Western Balkans 2023” award in the category Green Woman Entrepreneur, presented by the Regional Cooperation Council. She has also been a panelist at the Global Women’s Forum held in Paris in 2023 and at the “Strategy Development and Networking” event held in Banja Luka in 2024.
