
Aleksandra Sofronijević
Aleksandra Sofronijević is the Minister of Construction, Transport and Infrastructure in the Government of the Republic of Serbia. She graduated from the Faculty of Law, University of Belgrade, and holds a passed bar exam.
From 2014 until her appointment as minister, she served continuously as State Secretary in the same ministry.
From 2012 to 2014, she held the position of Assistant Minister of Construction and Urbanism, responsible for sectors dealing with the issuance of construction and occupancy permits, construction-related licensing, energy efficiency in buildings, construction land, administrative and legal supervision in construction, as well as state surveying and cadastre.
In the period from 2004 to 2012, she served as Assistant Minister in several ministries, including the Ministry of Capital Investments, the Ministry of Infrastructure, and the Ministry of Environmental Protection, Mining, Spatial Planning, and Urbanism.
She has participated as a speaker and panelist at numerous international, regional, and national conferences, covering topics such as property relations in construction land management, improvement of energy efficiency in buildings, green construction, construction waste management, and digitalization of administrative procedures in construction permitting.
She has taken part in all working groups for drafting laws and by-laws in the fields of spatial planning, urbanism, construction, and legalization of buildings from 2003 to the present day.
