
Željka Stojičić
Minister of Education and Culture of the Republic of Srpska, Željka Stojičić, completed her primary and secondary education in Mrkonjić Grad and earned her degree in Economics from the Faculty of Economics in Sarajevo in 1982.
She was elected as a Member of the National Assembly of the Republic of Srpska in the general elections of 2014 and 2018. During both terms, she served as Vice President of the National Assembly of the Republic of Srpska.
From 2011 to 2014, she worked as Assistant Minister in the Budget and Public Finance Sector at the Ministry of Finance of the Republic of Srpska. Between 2008 and 2011, she was Head of the Department for Economy and Finance in the Municipality of Mrkonjić Grad.
From 2004 to 2008, she served as Head of the Finance Department in the Municipality of Mrkonjić Grad. Between 1984 and 2004, she worked in the Forest Management Company “Lisina” in Mrkonjić Grad, handling financial operations.
As part of her professional development, she obtained a Certified Accountant license in 2000, a Certified Appraiser license in 2008, and passed the exam for Court Expert in the field of Economics in 2015.
