
Filip Cvetković
Dr. Filip Cvetković, born in 1995 in Niš, Serbia, is an Assistant Professor at the Faculty of Applied Sciences. He completed both his primary and secondary education in his hometown, where he was recognized as Student of the Generation and awarded the Bishop of Niš’s Diploma for Academic Excellence.
He earned his Bachelor’s degree in Economics and later obtained a Master’s degree in Management. In 2019, he began doctoral studies in Business Economics at the Faculty of Economics and Engineering Management, University of Business Academy in Novi Sad. He successfully defended his PhD dissertation in December 2024, titled: “Modern Goals of Artificial Intelligence Application in Management with Special Emphasis on the Interaction Between Science and Industry.”
Simultaneously, he studied at the Academy of Technological and Artistic Studies and was actively engaged in the fields of culture and the arts. He also worked in local government at the Youth Office of the Palilula Municipality in Niš.
Recognized for his academic potential and dedication, he joined the Faculty of Applied Sciences as a teaching assistant, continuing his academic career in research and education in management and economics. After completing his PhD in 2025, he was appointed Assistant Professor in the field of Business Economics and Management.
He has attended seminars such as “Simulation of the National Assembly Work” organized by the National Assembly of the Republic of Serbia and the “Journalism School” of the Journalists’ Association of Serbia.
Dr. Cvetković has participated in numerous professional conferences, youth forums, academic panels, and cultural events. His cultural engagement includes presenting his own artistic work. He completed a one-year professional internship at the Pedagogical Museum in Belgrade.
He has held more than fifteen solo exhibitions across various cities, including Niš, Belgrade, Skopje, Trebinje, Banja Luka, Ohrid, Gračanica, and Budapest.
Dr. Cvetković is the recipient of the “Belgrade Victor” award (2021) for his contribution to culture and the arts, a recognition from the Festival of Ancient Drama in Veles for his curated exhibition, and an honorary certificate from the Serbian Orthodox Church and the Diocese of Buda for his work in preserving tradition and promoting culture.
He serves as a member of the Review Committee of the National Accreditation Body for Higher Education Quality Assurance and was appointed by the City Assembly of Niš as a member of the advisory council for the music festival “Nisomnia.”
In addition to his academic career, he is the Director of the Institute for Cultural Research, a member of several diplomatic societies, and on the editorial board of the scientific journal “Lider.”
He has authored over twenty published scientific papers in domestic and international journals in the fields of management, economics, artificial intelligence, marketing, and industry.
He is fluent in English.
