Goran Račić
The founder of the Economic Forum, Goran Račić, is the driving force behind the initiative to gather economists and prominent figures from the region who, within the framework of the Forum at Jahorina, have been presenting one of the most significant expert gatherings of economists in Southeast Europe for the sixth year in a row.
Advocating for intensive exchange of experiences and insisting on open dialogue between decision-makers and business representatives, he is responsible for numerous initiatives and solutions that have contributed to the better functioning of the economy and business sector in general, primarily in Republika Srpska.
He dedicates special attention in his work to regional integrations and networking of entrepreneurs, advocating for the need for collaboration between institutions and business, and joint action in third markets.
“I firmly believe that significant solutions to the circumstances and challenges facing our society today lie in new economic solidarity and in the region, in the knowledge economy and new industries that can make our national and regional economy more competitive and resilient to crises,” is the message of Goran Račić.
For more than three decades, he has been an active participant in the economy of Republika Srpska.
As a prominent entrepreneur, since 2013, he has held the position of President of the Regional Chamber of Commerce Banja Luka, the largest chamber in the chamber system of Republika Srpska, covering the area of 18 municipalities and 3 cities where approximately 60% of the total economic activity in RS takes place.
