Boško Vučurević was born in 1958 in Novi Sad.
In 1985, he graduated with a degree in Economics from the Faculty of Economics, University of Novi Sad, specializing in Regional Economics – Economic Development. Since graduating, he has continuously pursued professional development in both domestic and international settings, focusing on foreign trade and management in the oil industry.
He has over 30 years of professional experience in foreign trade within the oil industry, gained both in Serbia and abroad. This extensive experience forms a solid foundation for his continued professional growth and his ability to improve business performance and increase sales and profit outcomes in the crude oil and petroleum products sector. He spent the majority of his career in executive management positions within the oil industry.
Before joining the Chamber of Commerce and Industry of Vojvodina, he worked at Naftachem d.o.o. in Sremski Karlovci. At HR Progress, he served as General Director, overseeing the control of retail oil markets in the Balkan countries. Prior to that, he was General Director at Glorys Finance Corporation, where he was responsible for wholesale and retail oil markets across the Balkans, as well as managing sales and operational activities on an international scale in the oil industry.
He also worked at NS Oil Energy in Novi Sad, Serbia, as General Director – overseeing B2B operations in the wholesale oil market, managing operational activities, achieving excellent results in sales strategy development, and maintaining consistent collaboration with OMV Serbia, especially in fuel card sales, which saw continuous growth.
At EuroPetrol Novi Sad, he also held the position of General Director. However, the longest period of his career was spent at Naftna Industrija Srbije (NIS-Gazprom Neft), from 1986 to 2009 – where he gained experience in executive management roles within Serbia’s and the region’s largest company, particularly in foreign trade related to international markets. He maintained ongoing collaboration with companies such as MOL, BP, OMV, Hellenic Petroleum, Dynea, and many others.
He became President of the Chamber of Commerce and Industry of Vojvodina in 2017. Taking over such an important institution was a significant milestone in his career. He made a concerted effort to apply the knowledge and experience he had acquired in the energy sector to the Chamber’s operations. He currently serves as Vice President of the Chamber of Commerce and Industry of Vojvodina.
He is married and has one son.
