Prof Dr Bogdan Kuzmanović

He completed his undergraduate studies at the Faculty of Economics, University of Novi Sad. At the same faculty, he earned his master's degree in 1997. In 2005, he earned a PhD from the Faculty of Technical Sciences in Novi Sad, where he is employed as a full professor in the fields of insurance, preventive engineering, safety, and risk management at the undergraduate, master's, and doctoral levels. His bachelor's thesis, master's thesis, and doctoral dissertation were in the area of risk management and insurance. He is also a full professor in the field of biotechnical sciences, with a specialization in risk management, at EDUCONS University in Sremska Kamenica.

He has extensive work experience in industry. For over 20 years, he worked at DDOR Novi Sad ADO, where he held the positions of director for property, transportation, and agricultural insurance.

His particular specialty was international transportation and credit insurance. He served as general director during a period when DDOR Novi Sad experienced its most dynamic growth and best results in its history. He was the chairman of the board for DDOR Bank, Metals Bank a.d. Novi Sad, the Novi Sad Road Construction Company, and the Institute for Field and Vegetable Crops – NS SEME.

In addition to his work at the university, he is engaged with Transnafta AD as the general director.

He is one of the founders and a member of the first board of directors of the “Serbian Association of Managers,” established in Belgrade on November 27, 2006. He has also been a board member of the Chamber of Commerce of Vojvodina, the deputy chairman of the assembly, and a member of the Supervisory Board of the Regional Chamber of Commerce in Novi Sad. He is currently the vice president of the Presidium of the Senate of the Economy of Serbia, a member of the Presidium of the Association of Economists of Vojvodina (since 2004), a member of the Presidium of the Association of Economists of Serbia (since 2023), and the president of the International Association of Oil Transporters (IAOT) based in Prague.

He was also a long-time member of the Board of Directors of the Water Polo Association of Serbia (2004-2014), a member of the Board of Directors of the Red Star Sports Society (2006-2010), and the chairman of the Board of Directors of KK “Vojvodina” Novi Sad (2018-2022).
