After graduating from the Faculty of Economics at the University of Banja Luka, Aleksandar Ljuboja continued his education at the Banking Academy in Frankfurt, where he specialized in banking management, and pursued postgraduate studies at London Metropolitan University, where he obtained a master’s degree in economics.
As a prominent entrepreneur, Goran Račić has been serving as the President of the Regional Chamber of Commerce Banja Luka since 2013. This chamber is the largest within the chamber system of Republika Srpska, covering an area of 18 municipalities and 3 cities where approximately 60% of the total economic activity in RS takes place.
He served as the Minister of Labor and Veterans’ Protection in the mandates of two RS governments. Currently, he is engaged as the Minister in the Ministry of Energy and Mining in the Government of Republika Srpska.
Janevski has over 15 years of experience in tourism, destination management, eco-tourism, and destination sustainability, as well as strategic tourism planning in Macedonia. His expertise is invaluable in the business world and in academia, where he works as an associate professor at the Faculty of Tourism, University of Skopje.
Darija Tankosić’s main focus in business activities is on creating public policies. She is dedicated to developing innovative models of regional connectivity, innovation sectors, creative industries in the region, the concept of SMART rural area development, as well as education and female entrepreneurship, and creating new business and social models.
With over 20 years of experience in the development sector in state institutions and companies, education, business, and political analysis, creating new products, lobbying, designing and leading social, marketing, and economic campaigns in Serbia and the Western Balkans region, she initiated the SMARTVILL project – a concept for the development of SMART rural areas adapted to modern trends of integrated models of ecological, residential, educational, and economic rural centers combined with sustainable management, innovation, and remote work logistics.
She has held managerial positions in the corporate sector, and since 2007, as an entrepreneur and consultant, she has represented numerous prestigious clients, dealing with both personal image and the development of corporate policies and positioning new products and services in Serbia and the region. As a graduate political scientist, she developed her high organizational skills in the media, and later in the Government of the Republic of Serbia through managing complex joint activities and coordinating highly structured state services.
She is a member of the Women Entrepreneurship Section of the Serbian Chamber of Commerce responsible for regional networking, and she initiated a networking project for successful women called “Balkan Leaders.” She participates in numerous regional events and initiatives on the topic of creative industries and the application of SMART solutions in modern economy, and she initiated the establishment of the “Council for Creative Industries” in Banja Luka aimed at regional networking.
Dr. Jelena Trivan, CEO of Mtela a.d. Banja Luka and former member of the National Assembly of the Republic of Serbia, has been an active member of the UNICEF BiH Business Advisory Council since 2022.
