Prof. dr Aleksandar Knežević

Since the beginning of his professional career, he has been involved in scientific research activities through work on various research projects. He has shown particular interest in population statistics and ethnodemography, presenting his scientific findings at numerous scientific and professional conferences.

He is the author of one university textbook, two scientific monographs, and over 50 papers in the field of demography published in national and international journals. Additionally, he has participated in projects of bilateral cooperation with other universities and research institutions. Since 2014, he has been a visiting lecturer at the Faculty of Medicine, University of Belgrade, teaching on specialist and doctoral studies in epidemiology. From 2017 to 2022, he served as the editor-in-chief of the scientific journal “Demography.”
