Boško Vučurević
Boško Vučurević was born in 1958 in Novi Sad.
In 1985, he graduated in Economics from the Faculty of Economics, University of Novi Sad, specializing in Regional Economics – Economic Development. Since graduating, he has continually upgraded his skills in the country and abroad in the field of foreign trade and management in the oil industry.
With 30 years of work experience in foreign trade in the oil industry in domestic and international environments, he has built a solid foundation for further professional development and the possibility of improving business results, increasing sales, and profitability in the field of crude oil and petroleum products. He spent the main part of his career in executive managerial positions in the oil industry.
Before joining the Chamber of Commerce of Vojvodina, he worked at Naftachem d.o.o. in Sremski Karlovci. At HR Progress, he was the General Director – Control of retail local oil markets in the Balkan countries, and prior to that, he was the General Director at Glorys Finance Corporation – Control of wholesale and retail local oil markets in the Balkan countries and Management of sales and operational activities in international frameworks related to the oil industry.
He worked for NS Oil Energy, Novi Sad, Serbia, where he was the General Director – Management of B2B within the wholesale oil market, management of operational activities, excellent results in developing sales strategies, constant cooperation with OMV, Serbia: cooperation in card sales, traffic in constant growth.
He was also the General Director at EuroPetrol Novi Sad, while he worked for the longest period at the Oil Industry of Serbia, NIS-Gazprom Neft, Novi Sad, from 1986 to 2009 – experience in executive managerial positions within the largest company in Serbia and the region, in foreign trade related to international markets, continuous cooperation with companies such as MOL, BP, OMV, Hellenic Petroleum, Dynea, and many others.
He became the President of the Chamber of Commerce of Vojvodina in 2017, and taking over such a significant institution as the Chamber of Commerce of Vojvodina was a real challenge in his career. He made sure to implement his knowledge and experience gained in the energy sector into the chamber structure.
He is married and has one son.
