Petar Đokić
He was born in 1961 in Brčko. He obtained his degree in economics in Belgrade. He began his career in the internal affairs bodies in Brčko, where he also held significant political positions. He contributed to the work of the Commissariat for Refugees of Republika Srpska.
He served as a member of the Executive Board of the Brčko Municipality Assembly, and was a councilor in the Brčko Municipality Assembly for several terms.
He was the director and owner of the private trading company Intermarket from Brčko and the president of the Management Board of the Parent State Enterprise UNIS from Republika Srpska.
He served as a member of parliament and president of the National Assembly of Republika Srpska, and also held the position of chairman of the Defense and Security Committee.
He served as the Minister of Labor and Veterans’ Protection in the mandates of two RS governments. Currently, he is engaged as the Minister in the Ministry of Energy and Mining in the Government of Republika Srpska.
