Doc. Dr. Sc. Med. Jelena Petković Dabić, recipient of the prestigious International Medis Awards for Medical Research, will attend the Jahorina Economic Forum 2026.

The award, also known as the “Medical Oscar,” was given to the successful physician from Banja Luka for her research and achievements in the field of dermatovenerology, with her work being recognized at the international level.

Dr. Sc. Med. Jelena Petković Dabić is a specialist in dermatovenerology and works as a dermatologist at the Clinic for Skin and Venereal Diseases of the University Clinical Centre of the Republic of Srpska in Banja Luka.

She is the President of the Association of Doctors for Skin and Venereal Diseases “CUTIS,” and defended her doctoral dissertation in the field of autoimmune diseases – psoriasis – at the Faculty of Medicine, University of Banja Luka, where she currently works as an Associate Professor at the Department of Dermatovenerology.

She is a coordinator in two multicenter clinical studies focused on the treatment of severe forms of atopic dermatitis in children and adults, as well as severe hidradenitis suppurativa.

Since 2017, she has also been running a private practice in anti-aging medicine and has participated as a lecturer at numerous national, regional, and international professional conferences.

She is the author and co-author of a large number of scientific papers in dermatovenerology, and serves as a permanent court expert in dermatovenerology and aesthetic medicine.
